My mower cuts off after it starts, (5-10 seconds)

Here it is again.....if it will only run on choke or a squirt of fuel and then die, the carb needs to be cleaned.  Sorry, but I am answering hundreds of questions that I wouldn't have to if everyone read the pre-question instructions.  Hope this helps.
