Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): boat engine, fishing boat, boat engine

What do you recommend for a small fishing boat, about 17ft?
I can't seem to get a straight answer on this.

85 horse.  I have an 85 horse on my 16 ft which is fine.  It gets me around the lake just fine and there is no reason to go faster than about 50 mph on a lake in my book.  The pros go faster, but they are crazy.  Maybe I should be in the fishing dept.
