Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Repairing the wiring on a rider lawnmower, gardentractor, montgomery wards

I am looking for a complete wiring diagram for a montgomery wards rider mower (12/42 6 speed transmatic transaxle).  It has a 12hp Briggs motor. I dont know the year but have the model # of the engine #280707. A squirrel hid in the mower and the dog chewed everything up.  I have no clue what to do.  If you can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I found a site with some generic information on lawn tractor wiring diagrams (not your brand) but will give you an idea.

If this doesn't help, you will need to locate a dealer that can supply the diagram and/or a complete harness.  Unfortunately, this brand could have been manufactured by one of many companies.  Take the model and serial number to your local small engine shop and they may be able to point you in the right direction.  Or search the net with your model numbers.  I don't work in the industry now so I am limited to the same resources you are.  Hope this helps.
