Snowmobile Repair: carb help...., arctic cat 340, sled

My Son has a 1977 Arctic cat 340 Cheetah, with a tillson hd15a carb. Do you know the adjustment for this carb?

I do not know the settings for that carb itself but a genral rule is to turn the screws all the way in until they are just barely snugg then go 1 full turn counter clockwise. this will give you a good place to start. Once you are at that point and have the sled running tune it by going 1/8 turn at a time until the sled runs smooth and the plugs are dry and a light brown color.
