Snowmobile Repair: engine running rough, mobile engine, throttle plate

hello, i have a snow mobile engine that i'm going to be putting into a golf cart. The engine is a CCW 340cc twin. the egine idles fine but when i push the throttle the rpm's don't raise. I don't know what the problem is maybe the carb itself. please help

Hello Mike,

  Is it bogging down, or is it actually not increasing in speed? It's possible that the throttle isn't turning when you give it gas. Try watching the throttle plate when you open the throttle, to make sure it's opening. Other than that, a new set of plugs and a carb rebuild kit normally always solves this type of problem.
