Mitsubishi: oil light, oil pressure sending unit, 2000 mitsubishi galant

Question
I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, the other day while i was driving home and at a stop light my oil light turned on, but as soon as I hit the gas it shut off.  I checked my oil as soon as  I got home and I have plenty of oil.  I don't know if there is an electrical thing going on, because my window wont go up either.  I just had the timing belt and top head of the engine replaced like 2 weeks ago.  Can I drive around like this.

Answer
HI Kara,

The window could be just a faulty switch. We'll work on that one on a resubmitted question.

The oil light could be that the car is idling too low after having the work done or it could be a faulty oil pressure sending unit. It could have something to do with the work that was already done or a bad oil pump. Also, I wonder why you had the head replaced? Knowing this might help me determine what the exact cause is...
