Snowmobile Repair: polaris supension, elbow grease, supension

Question
when you re install the rear supension on a snowmobile how do you get the holes to line up with the ones on the tunnel?

Answer
Hello Rob,

Well, there's no easy way around it, so it always takes a heck of alot of elbow grease. Your best bet would be to start with loosening the track tension bolts, and removing the two or more idler wheels in the back to make more slack in the track. If you have a friend pushing on it, take the bolt and put it just into the hole on the tunnel. Next have them hit the frame with a hammer, while you push down on the bolt, sometimes this will get it in. Other than that, it will just take alot of pressure. If you have any other questions, let me know. Good luck! --Arcticatman
