thanks for your help on the zr 700 cat it was helpfull. was wondering if you could direct me to a site or help me find the specs on a 1996 zrt 600 cat,mainly the horsepower, is what I'm wondering about.And if possible is the a site that gives this info in the form of the owners manual supplements.do not have the owners manual with this sled.the guys at our local dealership said that the 96 were the higher hp of the zrt's. was wondering for sure. thanks again for your time

 Glad you had good luck with the 700. As for horsepower on the ZRT, The 1996 model put out 120.2 HP and the 1997's put out 118. So basically, yes the '96 model has it's differences, and seems to be a somewhat more spunky than other ZRT machines. It is possible to draw 132.6 HP from that sled with a Power Breather and D&D pipes plus possible re-jetting. This was actually done on a '96 ZRT, and that was the dyno-testing results. Unfortunately, Arctic Cat does not provide an online manual for their sleds, as does Polaris. Your best bet would be to pick up a manual from www.denniskirk.com , part # 360309 .
