Steering Column Repair: 86 Monte Carlo Multifunction Switch, monte carlo ss, chevrolet truck

I've got an 86 Monte Carlo SS, and I am trying to replace my Multifunction switch, but I cannot figure out how to get my steering column cover off, and I cannot find any screws holding it on... any advice? Thank you,

Hi Mike:
Your car does not have a multifunction switch (if it's really an 1985).  It has 4 separate switches in the column, wiper, signal, highbeam & cruise).

They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the video is for a Chevrolet truck, the column is very similar to yours.
