Steering Column Repair: 2001 GMC Yukon XL Steering Issue, gmc yukon xl, yukon xl

I have an '01 Yukon XL 1500 4WD. Especially at higher highway speeds, there is a "grab" when steering to the right.  It was much more pronounced but I have since purchased new tires and installed new shocks along with a front end alignment.  The alignment helped the most but the problem still exits.  At this point I'm thinking valve issue or steering box.  Any suggestions to help diagnose the problem would be greatly appreciated.

I would agree with you about the valve or gearbox issue, however this is not my specific area of expertise.  I can tell you though, it is NOT in the steering column; it's beyond that.

You can re-post your question to another expert in the steering section (rather than steering column) and see if they can help you more.
