hope you can help me. I need instructions on how to remove a air bag and steering wheel from a 97 chevy z71. Please, oh please if you can help get back to me.

Hello Angie,
Most air bags either snap into place with tabs or have an assembly mount with screws from the backside of the steering wheel. These screws may or may not have some type of cover that probably snaps out.
I believe you should be able to remove the air bag on your Z71 with these basic concepts.
