Steering Column Repair: Horn wireing in column, size blazer, ron reed

Question
I have a 77 chevy full size blazer. The column was all torn apart when I got it.  I have everything back together but dont know where the little white wire with the spring (under the turn signal cancelling cam) that locks into the cam hooks up to.  I cant find anywhere that has a picture or a blowup of the way the column wires are routed.  The vehice has NO horns now, and when I install them I need to know how to make them work from the original horn button on the steering wheel.  I have all new parts in the column except the harness, and everything works fine(blinkers, flashers, key, tilt, and automatic shifter)  The horn has me at a standstill because I cant find a picture to follow and dont know how to route it or what to hook it up to.   Any help you can direct me towards would be greatly appriciated.   Thank you in advance -- Ron Reed

Answer
Hi,

The cancel cam has a tower that protrudes from the lock plate that has a notch in it. The black plastic sleeve with two tips protruding from around it that is attched to the white wire fits in the tower. It is then turned colckwise in the groove of the tower.
