Steering Column Repair: part name, steering wheel, tie rods

I don't know the name of the part that allows you to adjust steering wheel. That is what no longer works on my sons car and he wants to replace it. What is it called, how hard is it to replace and about what will the part cost? 1993 Chev. Caviler

Iam not sure of what you mean by adjusting steering wheel.
I do not know if you are speaking of the steering column or front suspension.
There is no adjustment or part to adjust the steering wheel unless you are taliking suspension components like tie rods, rack etc. Please clarify.
