Subaru Repair: Timing Marks, crank sensor, cam gears

Question

Answer
Both cam gears will have the mark at 12 o'clock. Crank gear will line up with mark on oil pump, just under the crank sensor. You will see a dashed line on the timing belt. Line that line up with the marks on the crank gear, so that you can read the writing from left to right. Then line up the solid line with the right cam gear ( left if looking at front of engine) while running the belt under the idler puller between the crank gear and the right cam gear, then line up the solid line on the left cam gear. Finish putting belt around remaining pulleys. Put timing tensionor on.
