Subaru Repair: clutch slipping, flywheel, clutch

Our '01 Forester's clutch is beginning to slip recently ... 54,000 mi.s.  Is there any adjustment capability, & how ?  Or is it time for replacement.

Sounds like time for a new clutch.It is a hydraulic operated clutch with now adjustment.Be aware that you have a two piece flywheel and there is a comprehensive kit available from Subaru that includes a new flywheel as turning the two piece flywheel doesn't always work out very well.
