Subaru Repair: 94 subaru legacy, air struts, fuse block

Question
i have a 94 subaru legacy with air suspension that doesn't work can i replace the air struts with struts from a car without air suspension

Answer
Yes,you can and that is the best way to tackle that issue.Look for ,four used strut assemblies from a wrecking yard.Visually inspect them to make sure they are not bent before install.Once you replace the struts you will need to disable the Pneumatic suspension module and compressor, the easiest way to do this is to remove the fuses in the fuse block located under hood by the washer fluid resivoir.Hope that helps
