Subaru Repair: o2 sensor replacement, legacy outback, o2 sensors

Question
Hi,  I have a '96 Legacy Outback and I need to replace the o2 sensors.  Any tips or tricks to help with the job?

Regards, Christian

Answer
First, let the car cool off before you try this - a couple of hours is good. Second, sometimes a o2 sensor socket makes things easy. Most parts stores sell them cheap, some even let you borrow them - Advance and Autozone around here have a good selection of loaner tools available. And finally, make sure they are snuggly installed, but not over tight. Good luck. Z
