Towing Issues: Rear End Tow, front wheel drive, dead battery

Question
My car 'died' in my driveway just under a couple of weeks ago and I had to have it towed to the repair shop (turned out to be a dead battery).  Since the car was 'nose in' to my drive, it had to be towed rear-end first.  Since then I developed a squeak and some grating noises around the car's rear end.  I have a feeling that something has been damaged around the shocks/suspension and it seems to be affecting my steering somewhat now.   I didn't have any noises at all before this event.  Could the towing have damaged something?  I'm in Erlanger, KY

Answer
it is possible if it was hooked up improperly then you might have had something damaged. Now since I am not there and can not see the vehicle or check out the damages I really can not say if it is damaged.

You might take it to another shop and tell them you are hearing noises in the rear end (do not tell them you suspect tow damage) and let them see if they can find anything wrong.

Now if they find something wrong, ask them what caused it and then go from them. Vehicles do wear out and with a front wheel drive vehicle there are not a lot of things to hook onto, or for going bad.

Good luck and hope this helps
