Towing Issues: Private lot handicap parking, handicap placard, handicap parking

Question
There is a marina that restricts their private parking lot to boat owners who must have stickers on their cars.  Can the property owner legally tow my vehicle which is parked in a handicap space with a handicap placard, but has no sticker?  He left note that said I would be towed next time.  I live in San Diego, CA and yes, I am familiar with VC 22658 but did not find the answer to this question.

Answer
22658 is just one of the laws which apply and there are also rules about the handicapped permits and parking with them.   They do not give you rights to park anywhere, and break what ever laws apply to spaces, they are only "giving you the rights to park in designated handicapped spaces"

Now it might be that the marina is not fully aware of the laws which apply in each case and I think that is the real point here.

There are a bunch of laws which would apply (to many to actually list or cut and paste into this answer for "disabled person parking" so best advise if for you to check out the link below and determine the proper one which apply for your case. I do not have all the information or I could point you to a specific section.   Plus there are like 8 different sections which might apply.

Here is the link to the DMV web site and the section for disabled person parking.
