Towing Issues: signing under duress, liability release form, signing under duress

Question
a friend had their vehicle impounded and needed to recover their belongings after hours, they were willing to pay an after hrs fee.  BUT the driver who came out was rude, held her pink until she signed a liability paperwork, and paid an $80.00 fee.  What is the best was to confront the owner about his emmployee, who was possitively not following company procedures by his actions

Answer
Well from what I understand it should be best to just go talk to the owner or manager in this case about the employee (who might of been one of them)

But rude is always open to discussion as to what it really is in many cases. Remember that people are seldom happy that the vehicle was towed and they tend to take it out on the tow company employees who are just doing their jobs.

The fee, well that sounds  about right for areas in California I have heard of, and the liability release form, not sure about that and what it really said, but most likely it is agreeing that the person is "legally able to get the property, and is also legally responsible for all towing and storage charges"

Hope this helps but I know there is more to this question that is presented here.
