Towing Issues: PARKING ON PUBLIC ROAD, maintenance supervisor, community maintenance


Question
I LIVE IN PASADENA OFF OF FORT SMALLWOOD ROAD. I HAVE A NEIGHBOR WHO HAS GIVEN PERMISSION TO HER BROTHER'S COMPANY TO PARK THEIR COMPANY VAN AROUND HER HOUSE WHICH IS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BACK YARD PROPERTY LINE.  THE PERSON THAT DRIVES THE VAN DOES NOT EVEN LIVE IN THE NEIGHBOR.  I TALKED TO THE NEIGHBOR AND THE COMPANY AND ALL I KEEP GETTING TOLD IS THAT IT IS A PUBLIC ROAD AND THEY CAN PARK WHERE EVER THEY WANT.  IT IS VERY LARGE AND DOES NOT LIKE THAT GREAT AND I HAVE A HARD TIME CUTTING MY GRASS.  THE NEIGHBOR HAS ALL KINDS OF REASONS WHY SHE CAN NOT PARK IT ALONG SIDE OF HER HOUSE BUT SHE HAS A CORNOR LOT WITH LOTS OF ROOM.  IS IT LEGAL FOR SOMEONE TO LEAVE AND MAKE THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THEIR PARKING SPACE EVERY NIGHT AND ALL WEEKEND LONG FOR THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS AND THEY DRIVE HOME TO WHERE EVERY THEY LIVE AND DRIVE BACK THE NEXT DAY TO GO TO WORK WITH IT.  THIS DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT, I KNOW IT IS A PUBLIC ROAD BUT TO MAKE IT THERE DRIVEWAY WHEN THEY DON'T EVEN LIVE IN THE NEIGHBOR.  HELP WHAT CAN I DO.

There isn't much a tow company can do with this situation but you can check with city/county zoning ordinances. Contact the community maintenance supervisor or zoning enforcement. There might be some restrictions with parking commercial vehicles in neighborhoods.
