Towing Issues: How do I tow a 2002 4 wheel drive jeep liberty, wheel drive jeep, jeep liberty

I am moving from Md to Az. I nbeed to tow my jeep behind my pick up what is the best way to do this on a full trailer or a tow bar. The company wants 900.00 to rent me a full trailer. I need to make sure as a woman I am not being ripped off.

In so much as I can understand your concern about the $900.00 for the trailer, I would go with the trailer instead of the tow bar...

Transmissions are not cheap for those vehicles and being it is a Jeep and 4wd also that means that it does not have any way to get the transfer case (device which selects the 4 wheel drive part) then any tires on the ground will cause internal parts in the transmission to move and fail...

I am assuming that you are talking about U-Haul in the trailer, and they have a great reference system about what can be towed and how to do it.

You can even double check online to see if your pickup is capable of doing the towing with the jeep and the trailer..
