Towing Issues: Towing for cleanup, branford connecticut, trucking company

I live in an apartment complex in Branford, Connecticut.  The management put out a 2 & 3 day notice they were going to be cleaning the parking lot.  It also said they would tow your car if it weren't moved.....Can they tow your car with that short of a notice and just to clean the parking lot?

Wow, talk about funny timing, I just quoted a trucking company on towing a truck back to Alabama from Branford...


Now as you ask, the management firm has given notice and that generally is valid as in warnings...  Cleaning of the parking lot can mean just that, sweeping and such, or it can also mean repainting lines and resealing the parking lot..

Generally vehicles left in parking lots like this (mainly large complexes) will have vehicles moved to other parts of the lot when it is being done. But nothing says they have to do that, vehicles can be towed away and the owner of the vehicle would have to pay for the tow and storage....

Hope this helps, but it sounds like what they are doing is legal.
