Towing Issues: towed to wrong locations, better business bureau, nevada transportation

Question
We requested that a car be towed to a specific dealership at a certain location 7 miles from where it was parked. When I called the dealership about the car I found out it had been towed to another dealership 20 miles away. We were quoted a price of $100.00 for this service to the original destination and it was to be added to our bill from the dealership. Now, the price is $195.00 and it is further away from where it will need to be towed back to. What can we do about this? I am thinking of reporting them to the BBB. Is there an agency in Vegas where I can report this?

Answer
From what I understand the Nevada Transportation Authority regulates - licenses and controls the towing services in the state.

I would check with them and see what can be done.

The Better Business Bureau, is not really an agency which can enforce any rules or anything.  More or less they just try to help you solve the problems but they have no powers or teeth to get things done. Think of them really as just a place to find information on companies.

Hope this helps
