On a greyhound type bus with a manual Trans should you pull the axle when towing?

Answer
Yes, you are best off pulling axles as it is a lot easier and very much safer than pulling the driveline...

You do not want to have anything turning into the transmission at all and risk damages to the transmission or worse yet burn it up.

Do not forget to put good axle covers over the axle housing, either with homemade plywood covers or any of the commercial covers available (such as from www.axlecap.net)
