Towing Issues: evicted tenants leaving vehicles on property, tow companies, grand theft auto

Question
I recently evicted some tenants, and they left two vehicles on the property.
It has been two weeks since they left.
I just found out that they have been trespassing on the property trying to get one started.
They were told they were trespassing, and they left.
What are my rights in regards to this?
They have never asked to come on the property, and I have called Lewis County Washington to get the vehicles inspected, and the paperwork started for abandoned vehicles.
After two weeks, I thought that they for sure weren't coming back, and I had even started taking some of the loose, scattered parts to the dump.
Thanks,
Rick

Answer
Well if you are going to leave the vehicles on the property  you will always have the potential of the former tenants coming there to either try to repair them or to get them... And if they do not want them you will have the "eyesores" there...

Have you checked with any area tow companies about having them removed (towed away at owners expense) which is the standard practice.

You can do what you want to clean up the property and of course you can bill them any fees you incur to do so. But for you to just take the vehicles to the dump or a scrap yard would require you to have the title or the "lien papers" to do so...

Other wise you could be in bigger trouble as it would be grand theft auto on your part.
