Towing Issues: What should i do if my car was illegally towed, kabob palace, tow company

Last week, I parked my car at the sharing parking lot in crystal city, arlington, VA.There is a big sign said "for customer of both kabob palace(a restaurant)and CVS store ".I went to the kabob.But,when I finished dinner from kabob , my car was towed. The driver told me that I am parking at the wrong place.
I tried many time to talk with the managers of the towing company. But they don't want to show me any pictures or evidences that my car was parking on the wrong place.
What should I do?

Well shared parking lots are always the biggest problem when dealing with towing issues from lots.

A lot of they claim, they say issues.
Hard to really fight at times. But I do have to say that while pictures or evidence of where you were parked are great, someplaces do not require them to be used or done.  Now Virginia has or is in the process of redoing the laws regarding towing from private property.
I have not got a final draft yet and the dates of implication have been moved back a few times.


But I would discuss the issues with the tow company of course and try to prove that you were a "customer" of the parking lot. Remember paper trail is great. I hope you have the receipts.
Keep great notes on this issue and you might prevail and if it goes to court just remember that evidence is what will win the case the most.
