Towing Issues: neglegent tow truck driver, tow truck driver, tow driver

I had my car towed recently and when he unhitched it, it droped about 2 feet damageing the car. I noticed the front seemed to be about 2 inches higher, he offered to pay for the tow himself and help me if anything happened to the car. I fixed the tire the next day and tryed to drive it home, but the car died and the water was running out the bottom about 5 miles away. I called him back he said he is going to help me get it home and fix it. I just curious since i screwed up and didnt report it to begin with what my chances of getting this resolved if he cant take care of it?

It sounds like the tow driver is definitely going to help you fix it. As long as you are both honest about the entire situation, then I would think it is ok to let him help fix what he's done wrong. If he neglects to keep his end of the bargain, then you would possibly have a case for small claims
