i live in New York [Brooklyn]i would like to know how can i find out if a driveway is legal

wow, I would guess that there has to be a "definition" of what a driveway would consist of somewhere in the City codes - laws...

Best answer I can give is to call the City planning office and see if they can point you the right way...

Other than that I have no idea
