Towing Issues: towing charges, maximum charges, chp officer

how much can a towtruck charge me to pick up my car from the accident to garage. even after the CHP officer said it was going to be 65dollars

Go to municode.com, click on your state and then city or county. The maximum charges should be posted their. State police often give a 'guess-a-mation' on towing charges. That is only what they 'think' the bill will be. The rates are set in stone by your local government. If you can't find the rate list, please let me know.
