Towing Issues: Inappropriate Towing, foot ball games, osu football tickets

Question
This situation happened in Columbus, Ohio. I went to a lot today to park my car to sell a couple of OSU football tickets for my dad who recently had a heart attack and could not use them. There are signs warning not to park there for the foot ball games. The game started at 12:15pm. I arrived at 10:15am, went to a couple of businesses to buy some a couple of things. As the crowds started walking by I went out by the roadway for approx 1 hour to sell the tickets. I went back to my car to leave at 11:15am, an hour before the game, and found my car had been towed. I did not go to the game and I visited a couple of businesses at the shopping center and was leaving well before game time. Is this an appropriate towing? Do I have any possible recourse for getting my money back ($130). Thanks for the insight.

Answer
Brian,

If you have receipts showing that you were a customer of businesses that permit use of that parking lot, then it is worth a shot to try and get a refund. If someone called the tow company and reported you for leaving your car and going near the stadium, then I doubt that the tow company will be willing to refund your money.
