Towing Issues: differential housing, rear axle assembly, wheel bearings

Question
This is a general towing question you may be able to help me with. Can
towing, either b/c trailer is past weight limit and/or because hitch is no level,
affect differential housing of a vehicle?

I know you are a commercial tower, but just though you might have some
insight.

Thx!

Answer
while is not really my area of expertise, I do know that overloading the rear axle can cause it to overheat and wear out the wheel bearings and put stress on the rear axle assembly inside the unit...

As to the "WHOLE DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING" I guess overloading it and hitting a good size bump can cause it to crack, or break an axle inside the housing...

Hope this helped but its not my area of expertise.
