Towing Issues: towing, going all the way, private property

Question
I left my rv in Ohio to be fixed it broke down in december. One of the mechanics decided to quite and take our rv with him to fix it. He left it on private property and the first place we left it towed it ran a title search going all the way back to the first owners and had it retitled in his business name. Please tell me what I can do to get my vehicle back.

well this sounds a bit strange and I am thinking that it might be a bit on the illegal side...

Was the vehicle registered in your name at all?

That might be a key as the lien papers are filed with the information provided from DMV.

This sounds like a good one for a lawyer to check into as it seems to be a bit of what I understand to be "CONVERSION of property"
