Chrysler Repair: 99 300M AC Compressor Clutch, clutch unit, compressor clutch

Roland - thanks for your great advise here - it has truly helped me with various tasks.  I did replace the AC belt which I thought was the problem.  Now the AC belt turns for 5 to 10 seconds - then starts smoking because the compressor wheel can't / won't turn. Can you mail me those 3 pages?  Else how can I tell if it is the clutch or the compressor?  Thanks again,

Hi Mike,
I don't have a great deal of experience with the compressor/clutch unit but I would believe if the clutch failed that it would slip, expect if it had a bad bearing. But that is not definitive. I can send you the 3 pages you need to deal with the clutch/compressor. Just let me know a postal mailing address.
