Towing Issues: Repo laws, lease holder, front wheel drive

Question
I was just wondering what you knew aout repo laws in TX? My car was in my driveway with the parking brake on. They came to the house at 4:30am and drug (leaving very visible marks in the yard and on the driveway) my car into the street. What are my rights as a home owner (what can I do for my vandalized property) and what else can I do? Did they break any laws? Can I fight back other than the lease holder?

Answer
As far as I know (and I am not well versed in Repo laws since I do not do many of them and I am not in Texas) it sounds like they did not break any laws.

Generally they  are not allowed to open gates or garage doors in order to gain access to the vehicle.. But I am guessing that the vehicle is front wheel drive and was nosed into the driveway.. That would be the reason for the tire marks on the driveway...
