Towing Issues: Towing, 2007 yukon denali, 2007 yukon denali xl

Question
Can I tow a 59 cadillac (4890lbs.) on an 18' flatbed trailer (weight unknown) rated at 10000lbs. with a 2007 Yukon Denali XL?

Answer
While this kind of question is not my area of expertise, a quick internet search came up with this information...

"The Denalis are powered by an aluminum 6.2-liter powerplant that features variable valve timing and produces 380 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque. It gives the hefty trucks a towing capacity of 7,900 pounds "

That is from this website. http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/GMCYukonXLDenali

Question here is really what does the trailer weigh and then you can add the Cadillac and the trailer and see if you are under the 7900 pounds that it says it can tow...

But remember, when you get real close to the maximum tow rating, your steering and braking are also affected and you do need to take it a bit more easy when driving...

Hope this helps you even though it is not my area of expertise for this question.
