Towing Issues: parking sign too small to read, tiny sign, visible signs

Question
My  car was towed on Sunset blvd in LA. I read all visible signs on the pole and one on the parking meeter. The parking meeter read "loading zone 7am- 12pm. I was parked from 10pm - 1am. It turns out there was a tiny sign on the meeter, under the glass, saying it would tow after midnight. Is there any law about making signs clearly visible to the driver? Is there a distance for visibility requirement or can they just put notices as small as they want and hope you don't see them?

Answer
as far as I know there are no "requirements" in how big signs have to be inside the meters...

But like anything, there usually is a lot of stuff to list and not enough room to do it so things are small at times...

Sorry,  but I have no real answer as to size requirements on CITY OWNED equipment signs..
