Chrysler Repair: voltage generator regulation, powertrain control module pcm, powertrain control module

Question
Hello,
How can be changed generator voltage for Chrysler Grand Voyager 2,5 td 1995.

Answer
Happy New Year, Rutenis!
May I ask for your help?
I need your vote of confidence.
I'm in a close race to be recognized as 'Volunteer of the Month' at Allexperts
Purely symbolic, but it means alot to me.

Click on the "YES"
That's it.
Thanks for taking a moment to help a fellow Chrysler-owner.

Hi Rutenis,
The voltage output of the generator is regulated by the powertrain control module (pcm) which is a major engine control device which cannot be adjusted/changed but rather can only be replaced.
So I hope that the pcm itself is not the problem but instead it is the generator, or the wire from the pcm to the generator is the problem, or the wire from the autoshutdown relay to the generator that is the problem. Any one of those could be the reason for low voltage coming from the generator (warning light is 'on'?). The most common cause for the warning light is that the generator is worn out and needs to be replaced. The pcm is not likely to be the cause.
Tell me about the history of the problem, what has been tested if anything, and then I can give you specific advice. Do you have a test meter?
