Towing Issues: damage after vehicle released, storage yard, tow company

hi. my vehicle was impounded leagally from private property last night. I went to the storage yard where my vehicle was stored and noticed it was parked, tightly between a lifted truck and a fence.  when I did a walk around I saw scratched all over the left and right side of the vehicle. I tried to have someone come out and look, the office said the manager wasn't in and offered me to wait until someone could inspect it. i couldnt wait, i paid the fee and left.  i still want the scratches fixed what can i do now??

well, at least I hope you had the towing company personal note on the invoice the damage.

regardless of if the manager was there or not, they should of at least noted it...

the problem with leaving the yard without proof or documentation is that after that its just hard to prove it happened during the tow or after it was picked up (personal opinion)

Keep on the tow company and they "might" make it good, but remember it will always be a battle.  Damage claims are very common and not saying yours is unfounded.  It's just that some companies use a stalling tactic when dealing with complaints...
