Towing Issues: Illegal towing from Dennys Resturant, drag method, bmw dealer

Question
My car a BMW 525 was illegally towed from a Denny's Resturant in Arlington Texas by negligent mistake.

Apparently the "spotter" for the company was looking for individuals who parked their cars there and went to a nearby night club.

I received a total of $2,367.00 in damages to the front suspension, control arms and tie rods etc (these are cars are NOT  inexpensive to repair as you know) from the rear two wheel drag method used from the holding lot and back to Denny's over horriendous road conditions.

Could you please give me some legal resources and advice in this very serious matter.

Thank you in Advance

Answer
My area of expertise is in towing trailers behind cars, not tow truck issues.

But, if it was me, I would first contact my own attorney, or the states attorney in my area.  You can also locate some legal experts on this site.

I would expect you will need some qualified, respected mechanics (BMW dealer would do) to evaluate the damage and give a best estimate of what could cause the damage.  Probably best not to fix it yet if possible, but that may have already happened.  Hopefully you took pictures, and have the names, address, phone of anyone that witnessed the tow, and your efforts to get it back at the restaurant.

Probably would be a good idea to install a quality alarm in the future, that has a remote you carry to alert you to the car being messed with.
