Towing Issues: towing, jeep wrangler, tow dolly

Question
I am planning on towing my 1995 Jeep Wrangler manual 4 cylinder from Pennsylvania to Florida. I am going to use a dolly. Will I be ok putting the transfer case and transmission in neutral? Is there anything else I should do?

Answer
Well the commercial side of the towing business says that a jeep wrangler has all the wheels off the ground to tow it so it cuts down  the chances for damage to the transmission / transfer case.

Now using a tow dolly, it would still be subject to the chance of damage.

Now it might be best if you were to load the jeep and then remove the driveline to the end on the ground.. This is usually 4 bolts which hold it in place at the axle...
