QUESTION: I asked about DOLLY TOWING NOT DINGY TOWING. I know they can not be dingy
towed without drive shaft coupler. Can they be DOLLY towed please.

Answer
Ok  so you want me to do your homework, with out knowing the years of the vehicles and all that...

Lets see,  aahhh real quick,  AWD  ( ALL WHEEL DRIVE ) means every wheel is a drive wheel and dolly towing leaves 2 wheels on the ground..   SO on the Santa Fe that would mean that the transmission is still turning and it will cause damage, or it would be interpreted as slipping on one end and LOCK the other end in and rip it off the dolly...

Is that simple answer...

Toyota FJ, lets see, it lists on the 2007 model as having either full time 4 wheel drive or one that has selectable modes either 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive...

I guess that with the limited information I have been provided by you, I can not really answer this question for you as I do not know the YEARS OF THE VEHICLES and all the options you have on yours.. I HAVE TO GUESS AT ANSWERS HERE.....  That's why I pointed you to the website...

Now if I can not answer this question for you, could it be that you are ASKING A GUY THAT TOWS VEHICLES FOR BREAKDOWNS AND ACCIDENTS,  not behind RV's so it's out of my area of expertise....

I guess this will also mean I get bad feedback from you also, since I volunteered to try and answer questions about my area of expertise..
