Towing Issues: mini cooper, manual tranny, good answer

H ya well cannot find a good answer, can I flat tow a mini cooper behind an RV
had one sold it , but want another vehicle for towing only thing stopping me
from getting my 3rd mini is the capability to tow, Heard they had changed to flat
towing but is that a rumor .If its posible how?????

Answer
Most FWD transmissions need some movement to splash lube the internal parts.  When you tow, you move some parts, but not the ones that splash lube. (talking manual tranny here, not automatic, with the auto, you MUST dolly tow).

So in this case, I would not Flat tow, but dolly tow, and you will be fine.  Better for the car anyway.
