Towing Issues: towing damages, small claims court, parking sticker

Question
My car was towed from a visitor's parking lot in the apartment building where I live, for no sticker. I was on hold with my landlord about getting a parking sticker because he towed a previous car with my original parking sticker. I recently purchased this car and when I went to get my car I checked before I got in, I saw scratches and dents on the back bumper, left and right side. The towing company wrote on my receipt that it had dents and scratches prior to tow, which is not true, being a recently purchased Intrigue. They say that they are not responsible.I filed a complaint and damage to vehicle claim and nothing has happened. What should I do?

Answer
Keep going after them because they will say it takes time to determine blame and responsibility...  Tow company will deny damages, they will place responsibility back on you by saying that it was pre existing damage....

Document everything, get pictures,  go to body shops and get estimates, check where you bought the vehicle from and see if they have a vehicle condition report on it.. All this will help..

Worst case is they all deny they did it and if you still feel wronged there is the small claims court route, but this takes time and some money to file...
I hate to defend the tow company, but at times some people
make mountains out of ant hills...Not saying that its wrong or right, but I have seem some pretty pitiful claims.. (personal comment here)

Hope I gave you some ideas and answers.
