Towing Issues: 22 trailer, rv towing, dodge 1500

Question
I have a Dodge 1500 2002 quad cab, two wheel drive. Can I tow a 22' travel trailer with just the bumper? Or will I need to install a receiver, with a drop hitch?

while I am not very good on the RV towing issues, I do know that the capacity differences between a bumper hitch and a receiver hitch mounted to the frame are night and day...

I would go with the receiver hitch assembly as its a better system to use...
