Towing Issues: 4 roommates 3 driveway spots, real jerk, towing companies

I have a real jerk of a roommate who says that he will have my car impounded if I park in one of the spots leaving him odd man out for a driveway spot, does he have any right to do so, and if this did happen could I sue him or the towing company as I would consider this car theft. that roommate is not the owner of the house.

I think that this is one of those problems which there is no real answer for... Sorry to say but this is classic apartment or house parking issues, and towing companies are always brought into this nightmare.

I would be looking for a different place, so that this issue does not happen...
Property owners are usually the ones that can order tows, and as such this one problem would create a big legal responsibility issue...

Sorry, but best advise is to be very very careful as if someone else parks there, you might suffer.
