Towing Issues: towing, best bet, towing services

My son is staying with me and had his car parked in the visitor parking with my unit permit decal.It was towed not because the property manager call but someone in the complex.Is this right

AAAAHHH, this sounds wrong to me as people in "Legal control" of the complex are supposed to be the ones to call for vehicle removal... That is usually law in many areas, but there are some places where just about anyone can call for vehicles to be removed...  
PLUS some towing services just are not familiar or just do not care with the laws which apply. That is a sad part of the business.

It does sound that it was done wrong to me, but since I have no information as to what City or State you are in, I can not give you an actual answer.. Best bet is to check with the local police and see what they tell you is legal.
