Towing Issues: Wiring, stop lamp, tail light

Question
I have a 2007 F150 and getting ready to hook up the wiring. My Tekonsha controller has four wires and the wire setup Ford gave me has five. I can match everything up except the brown wire they gave me that says illumination feed. Do I connect that with the stop lamp?

Most sites list any brown wire as the tail light circuit.

I would think that Ford would give you a full wiring diagram with that truck and the harness they provide.  Ask your dealer to get that for you.
