I need to ship my car from oklahoma city,ok to seattle,wa
can you name some good companies for shipping, i tried some through the internet all of them are quoting for higher price i am looking for a cheaper price

I have used a few services, the best way is to find someone that lives either in your area, or where the car you want transported is at or where it is going.  

I found one that was lower priced because they made trips to pick up stuff, and could bring a car to me on the dead-head portion of the trip.

It is common for car transportation to be at least $1 per mile, one way.

The more flexibility you can give in a pick-up or delivery time, usually the better price you can get.

If it was me I would just google auto transport companies or variations on that and start calling.  NOTE: that there are shady companies out there, the best companies will collect their money when the car is delivered, and most will want it in cash (you can guess why).   That way you know you will at least get your car.  Try not to pay in advance.  Also make sure they have insurance on the car to cover for damage, and have it closely inspected when loading and unloading.

Check with your own insurance company to be sure you are double covered.
