-----Question-----
I had my car impounded and it was running fine when I went to go get out after 30 days it would not start I was charged a extra day and had to pay to have it towed back to my house I lost my job and my car is still not fixed I don't know what to do I have the sheriffs tow report and the sheriff said he would make a statement or affidavit in court but could not give me any advice what to do
-----Answer-----
well, since it would not start, I really can not tell you what happened.  Was it dead battery, out of gas, bad fuel pump, computer that died.  Some of those are simple to fix, but if its like the fuel pump or computer they are kind of like light bulbs.  Never know when it is going to die.

As far as the tow company being responsible, I do not think you would have any recourse on trying to get them to pay for repairs to your vehicle. They did the job which was to protect your vehicle safely and sounds like they did the job.

Sorry but that's the best advise I can give you. Sorry about the loss of the job.  Maybe something better will come from this

No that is what I thought and it was my anti-theft system the car was not towed properly and it set off my anti-theft system once triggered shuts my fuel system down and my ignition had been replaced it was having a connection problem because the ignition was loose where can I obtain information on tow regulations

Answer
OK  anti theft systems  are always problems for towers...

Unfortunately its just one of the hazards which towers get blamed for. When we tow vehicles, it does shake, and bounce the vehicles which depending on the alarm system will activate the shut down systems.

Now the towing properly comment makes me wonder what you mean and what way you think it should be towed.
Or do you mean the reason for the tow, or what kind of truck should be used?

Towing regulations are available online, but with out knowing what state you are talking about does not help me provide you with information..  If you do a google search on towing regulations in your state you will get lots of replys and information. Some of it will not be correct, and some is way out of date.
